
Representatives of World Muslim Elite in Istanbul for Salamworld Inaugural Global Summit

On February 12th -14th 2012 representatives of world Muslim elite will gather in Istanbul to participate in Salamworld Inaugural Global Summit.
Salamworld Inaugural Global Summit which is planned to be held annually aims to establish interaction between Muslim scholars, social leaders, IT specialists and celebrities in order to support this ambitious Islamic IT project. The Inaugural Global Summit to serve as a platform for exchange of ideas, generation of progressive thinking and contribution to the development and implementation of advanced technologies for the benefit of the Muslim world and to support Salamworld global policies.
The participation of high-level guests and governmental officials is expected. Among invited guests are: Mahathir Mohamad, Former Prime of Minister of Malaysia; Rashid Al-Ghannushi, the leader of En-Nadha Party, Tunisia; Sami Yusuf, British composer; Rizvan Khan, popular Television news reporter and interviewer; Mustafa Ceric, Mufti and Head of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina; Tawakul Karman, Yemeni journalist and activist; Lauren Booth, famous British broadcaster and journalist; Mohammad Abbasi, Minister of Sports and Youth of Iran; and many others.
