5th International Student Gathering in Istanbul

From 14-16th April 2012 Salamworld participated in 5th International Student Gathering in Istanbul, Turkey.

The three-day event organized by Bab-i Alem, International Students' Association, was attended by more than 5,000 students from 75 countries studying in Turkey, 33 other association,  as well as tens of thousands of visitors from the Balkans, Caucasis, Central East, Asia and Africa. The Student Gathering was launched by Bekir Bozdag, Deputy Prime Minister, and Muhammad Omar al Mukhtar, the son of Libyan leader Omar Mukhtar.

Salamworld participation at 5th International Student Gathering was aimed at promoting and rising awareness about the social network among students and youth organizations, its primary target audience. Encouraging students to participate in contests and photo campaigns Salamworld team directed its joint efforts on building relations with youth practicing pre-launch registration and distribution of SW original t-shirts and flyers.
