Salamworld in Saudi Arabia: Mecca

Mecca, May,12: During the visit to Saudi Arabia, Salamworld delegates met with Ali Omri, the Chairman of the World Islamic Organization for Education. Focusing on the importance of the social media and internet for the education, Salamworld and the World Islamic Organization for Education shared their common objectives in promoting educational and development programs among Muslim youth. Salamworld is the first social media platform aiming at promotion of education and professional development among Muslim youth. 
 

Mecca, May,12: Meeting with HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki, Ex Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance and Secretary General of the World Muslim League, one of the largest Islamic non-governmental organizations, representing Muslim religious figures from 22 states, was founded it in Mecca in 1962.


During the meeting the parties discussed the areas of strategic cooperation, making plans to sign a formal agreement. Stressing the importance of Salamworld Dr. Al-Turki noted that he will recommend Salamworld to all the bodies and institutions supervised by the League for cooperation and partnership. Dr. Turki expressed his willingness to participate the second Executive Board Summit due in Qatar, in October 2012.
